Bar rail molding is used to create a bar arm rest on the bar edge where the shape of the bar molds comfortably to the elbow. The simple notched-out profile is easy to install for the diy and contractor alike. The solid wood bar rail is milled from a single piece of top grade hardwood lumber stock for unrivaled durability and strength.

Specialty Wood Works of Peoria makes a hardwood bar rail endcap that covers the exposed cut end of the bar molding to complete the finished look of your custom home bar trim.

Specialty Wood Works manufactures products in any available material including weather resistant species like teak and cedar for outdoor wood bars. The more common hardwoods include red oak, cherry, hard maple, black walnut, and poplar. Oak bar rail can be stained any color and bears a distinctive dark grain that is easily recognizable. Cherry bar rail is often finished clear to accentuate the beautiful grain and coloring that becomes darker and richer with age. Maple bar rail likewise is often left unstained and may be ordered in a marbled brown and white variation we refer to as Brown Hard Maple or the more expensive White Hard Maple containing none of the brown material.

For a finished custom look use Specialty Wood Works' radius bar rail corners. The CNC produced curved bar rail molding eliminates the miter cut along with the sharp edge for a safer and more attractive rounded corner.

This new bar rail profile measures 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" with a multiple stepped undercut. It is available in the same species as BR66 and with curved corners and end caps. Incomplete price list below, please inquire for species not listed.

This product is manufactured from building grade lumber, kiln dried to 12% moisture content. It is recommended that you attach it with screws only, no glue, to allow for expansion and contraction.
